Research project on the population ́s attitudes to the Sámi

Beskrivelse

The aim of the assignment is to obtain new knowledge about the Norwegian population's attitudes to the Sámi and to what degree different prejudices and stereotypes are prevalent in the population. The research project shall provide knowledge on which mechanisms mean that some groups in the majority population have more negative attitudes towards the Sámi than others, as well as what factors can contribute to counteract stereotypical and negative attitudes.
